Smoke Visible In Marin Not Due To Fire In Area: Officials
BREAKING: Fire officials said residents and visitors will smell smoke from fires burning throughout the region.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – Although heavy smoke is visible Thursday throughout Marin County, it is not coming from a fire in the immediate area, officials said.
The smoke is coming from several large fires in Northern California, according to the Marin County Fire Department. Fire officials said residents and visitors will smell smoke.
Marin fire and police officials urged community members to call 911 only if they see a fire or a visible building column of smoke.
