Cows On The Lam Caught In San Ramon Neighborhood
No mooooving violations were issued and the cows were reunited with their owner.
SAN RAMON, CA — It was not the typical car er cow chase you might see on the nightly news. Police in San Ramon were called to a neighborhood on Byer Court to help corral some wayward cows discovered in a front yard last weekend.
Witnesses told police the two bovine visitors were first spotted in the road and later using the sidewalk. When officers arrived, they found the cows calmly munching away on some grass, which apparently was greener on that side of the court.
“The officers located the owner, a local rancher, who came to retrieve the cows after about an hour,” police told Patch.
