Relay for Life Luminaria Ceremony: A Tangible Hope

Santee's Relay for Life lasts 24 hours- plenty of time for all sorts of activities. The most touching is the candlelit ceremony remembering loved ones lost to cancer.

The candle is as solid as a rock, like our caregivers... the flame is the light of hope, the hope that a cure will be found before one more candle is lit, the burning desire in each of us to extinguish cancer now."
