Creative Photography Workshop at Jack London State Historic Park

Join professional photographers Susan and Neil Silverman, www.silvermansphotography.com, for an inspiring, hands-on exploration of your phone camera’s creative potential.

The first half of the class will be held in the House of Happy Walls Museum.The instructors will demonstrate camera settings, creative features, and practical techniques that will help you make the most of the camera you carry every day. The demonstrations are designed to teach how the camera works and to inspire your eye for composition, light, and storytelling.

After a short lunch break, the group will move to Beauty Ranch to photograph a variety of subjects while practicing the techniques just learned. Discover new photographic techniques and creative possibilities while you experience and appreciate the remarkable beauty, history, and atmosphere of Jack London State Historic Park. It’s the perfect setting to experiment, ask questions, and develop both technical skills creative vision.

Photographers of all experience levels are welcome, and any smartphone camera may be used. Demonstrations will be presented on a newer iPhone, but the concepts and techniques apply to virtually all modern smartphones.
