The "Carpool In San Mateo County!" program offers drivers and riders a $2 incentive per person during peak commute times.
During Spare the Air days, air quality officials advise people to limit outdoor activities and carpool if possible.
Each shift is two hours and you can indicate your location and time preferences.
CalTrain will eventually run faster, stop quicker, pollute less, and be quieter.
