1. 18-year-old suspect arrested in death of man in Vista (10news.com) — Vista authorities have arrested an 18-year-old local man on suspicion of murder after a man was found fatally injured early Wednesday in the 1400 block of East Vista Way. Deputies and medics could not save the victim, and detectives are still gathering evidence while asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Homicide Unit or Crime Stoppers.

Vista's Inaugural Día de Muertos St Festival a Full Day of Culture, Music and Community to South Santa Fe Avenue (northcountydailystar.com) — Vista residents can look forward to a free Día de Muertos street festival this Sunday, Oct. 11, along South Santa Fe Avenue, centered at 802 S.
