• Rollover Crash Resonates In Walnut Creek Early Saturday; Occupants Flee (news24-680.com) — Early Saturday, a car rolled over and slid on its roof at North California Boulevard and Cypress Street in Walnut Creek, damaging fencing and narrowly missing a parked Jeep. Witnesses saw two occupants crawl from the wreck and flee before officers arrived, and authorities have not yet confirmed whether those involved have since been located.
   

• Search for missing Bay Area coffee shop owner to resume on new trails (sfchronicle.com) — A Bay Area family is renewing the search for missing coffee shop owner Amy Hillyard, who disappeared after returning from a therapy appointment in Walnut Creek and a BART trip home. New data from her AllTrails account has investigators focusing on several additional hiking routes. Volunteers and drones will comb these trails over the coming week as her family pleads for tips.
