- Turns out that Boulder's hot spots aren't just commercial districts. Early findings from the heat mapping project in Boulder indicate that the city's heat islands aren't only in commercial areas. Researchers have discovered that many of the hot spots are frequently in areas with a large number of affordable housing units. (CO Sun)
- Twitter releases at least 87 employees from Boulder office. The layoffs were announced on Nov. 4, and Twitter sent a letter to the City of Boulder indicating that "approximately 87 employees at the Boulder Office will be terminated from the company." The employees included in the workforce reductions will be paid and receive benefits through Jan. 4, 2023. (7News)
