  1. CU awards nearly 9,000 degrees in first in-person commencement since 2019. The University of Colorado at Boulder awarded nearly 9,000 degrees during the spring commencement ceremony on Thursday. The ceremony included 6,722 bachelor's degree candidates, 1,502 master's degree candidates, 188 law degree candidates, and 385 doctoral degree candidates. (9News)
  2. Popular Boulder trails set to close this summer. Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Park department will close several trailheads over the next two months for parking lot maintenance and trail repair work. Impacted areas include Sanitas, Bear Canyon and Chautauqua, among others. (FOX31)
  3. Why do scam calls show up as calls from small Colorado towns? You've probably gotten a call from Allenspark only to pick up and it be a spam call for an extended car warranty. Spoofing the calls through small towns one way scammers trick people into answering. (9News)
  4. Boulder City Council meetings will return to in-person after a two-year hiatus. On May 17, the first City Council in-person meeting will be at the Penfield Tate II Municipal Building. For those that have grown accustomed to attending the meetings virtually, there will continue to be a virtual option as well. (CO Daily)
