- New Colorado COVID-19 cases triple in past three weeks. Just when you thought it was over, cases and hospitalizations related to the COVID-19 virus have gone up significantly over the the past month, and the number of fresh outbreaks of the disease identified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment have nearly tripled in the past three weeks. - Firefighter morns the loss of his home to the Marshall fire as peak fire season begins. As Colorado continues to face extremely dry and windy conditions, firefighter Scott MacLaughlin mulls the loss of his home and worries about fighting more fires like the Marshall Fire that destroyed his home last December. - BMoCA plans move to NoBo Arts District in hopes of creating a creative campus. Over the last 50 years, BMoCA has provided the community with exhibits from local and world-renowned creatives, now it hopes to expand its legacy with a proposed move and expansion to the NoBo Arts District in North Boulder. - State lawmakers have plan to refill water aquifers. The plan sets $60 million aside to retire irrigation wells that have been used to irrigate farmland. The federal COVID relief money will fund the program in two river basins, in hopes of meeting groundwater sustainability targets. (CPR)
- Denver Union Station crackdown nets nearly 1,000 arrests, but did create more problems? The recent attention by Denver Police at the transit station has mostly focused on arresting drug users.
