Here are the top stories in Boulder today:
- Boulder seeks feedback on proposed transportation projects. The City Boulder wants to hear from the community about several proposed transportation projects that could be funded by the Denver Regional Council of Governments' Transportation Improvement Program. The four projects being considered would enhance bus, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.(Yahoo)
- April 2022 may turn out to be Boulder's driest month ever. There may be no May flowers at this rate. Historically, April is Colorado's wettest month, with an average of 2.66 inches of rain. So far this year, a meager .12 inches have found their way to the ground, making this the driest April in 130 years. (CO Daily)
- Most homeowners that lost homes in Marshall Fire were underinsured. Many of those that are trying to rebuild after the fire have found that they were massively underinsured, to the tune of $179 million. (CO Sun)
- Boulder's Transportation system is at a "pivot point." The City of Boulder is gearing up to make significant investments in the city's cycling and pedestrian infrastructure. (Reporting Lab)
- Headed to Rocky Mountain National Park next month? Be prepared to pay at least an extra five bucks on all the normal fees you're used to paying. One-day vehicle passes are going up from $25 to $30 starting May 27. That's also when the park will transition to its timed entry system that requires visitors to the park reserve a time slot. (CPR)

- Should you stay or should you go? I don't know about you, but I'm still playing it safe as Colorado health officials say that the new COVID-19 variant is among us. That's causing a small bump in infections across the state, but ransmission rates are still pretty low, so hopefully it's something we don't have to to worry too much about. (CO Sun)
