Here are the top five stories today in Boulder:

  1. National Parks pledges more inclusion of Native Americans. The federal government announced its intention to make greater efforts to include Native American tribes in decisions involving federal lands. (Patch)
  2. Auto Theft suspects are repeat offenders. In 2021, there were nearly 37,000 vehicles stolen in Colorado, and so far this year, the state is on pace to exceed that number in 2022. According to officials, 97 percent of those arrested in the last three years for auto theft have had multiple arrests for auto theft. (9News)
  3. Commissioners get input on proposed library district. The proposed library district boundaries will include Boulder city limits and extend into the unincorporated part of the county. The Boulder County Commissioners held a meeting in an effort to hear from county residents ahead of the public hearing that is set for early April. (CO Daily)
  4. Woman found dead in her car at the Flagg Park trailhead. On Saturday, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office was investigating the death of a woman that was found in a car at the trailhead parking lot "with blood on her face, and a bullet hole in the windshield." (KKTV)
