Here are the top stories today in Boulder:

  1. Metro Denver is one of the worst areas for ozone pollution. A recent study by the American Lung Association has several Denver metro communities on the list for the worst ozone conditions in the U.S. This probably won't surprise some, as the EPA recently moved to designate the Front Range as a severe violator of ozone standards.   2. Investigators believe the NCAR Fire was caused by human activity. The investigators looking into the cause of the NCAR Fire last month have since run through all of the leads they had. (9News)
  3. The bud, it is moldy. State marijuana regulators have recalled some 36 different batches of recreational weed at Fresh Baked in Boulder. The bad bud was flagged because it may have had contained unsafe mold and yeast levels. (Westword)
  4. EVs are coming to Colorado. A bill that is working its way through the state legislature would require most new commercial and residential buildings to include electric car charging stations. (Patch)
  5. Today's fire danger warning is considered extremely dangerous. Boulder and most of Colorado, outside of the mountains, will be under a Red Flag warning starting at 11 a.m. on Friday. A Red Flag warning is issued when there is high fire danger, usually due to adverse weather conditions. (CBS4)
