BOULDER, CO — A woman who was seen in a video making racist comments to University of Colorado Boulder students has been taken into custody, according to the CU Boulder Police Department. She is not affiliated with CU Boulder, authorities said.

Rebekah Krajacic, 33, was arrested Friday on a misdemeanor harassment charge after officers were notified that she was in the library in the Benson Earth Sciences building, police said.

Many students attended the university's State of the Campus address Tuesday wearing black to show their support for black students. The students staged a walkout in the meeting to protest racism.

CU Boulder Chancellor Philip DiStefano and other university administrators met with student leaders Wednesday to come to an agreement about policies and actions that would combat racism on the campus.

Krajacic was booked into the Boulder County Jail Friday, police said.
