Bear Escapes Manhole In Colorado Springs [WATCH]
A young bear, about 250 lbs was trapped in a storm drain for hours until it finally popped out of a manhole.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A young bear, about 3-4 years old popped out of a manhole and was rescued from a Colorado Springs storm sewer Thursday, officers for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Office said.
Parks and Wildlife officers believe the young bear, about 250 lbs, was lured to the neighborhood in west Colorado Springs on Lower Gold Camp Road by tree branches filled with berries that had been dumped in unsecured trash cans nearby.
The bear was inside the drain for several hours. Finally, officers removed a manhole cover and waited.

The bear stuck his head out of the hole, looked both ways and pulled itself out. Officers hazed it and fired a non-lethal rubber bullet to scare it away, as it fled into a wooded area behind several garages.
