2010 Murder Suspect Arrested In Littleton
Elbert Co. Sheriff's Deputies arrested Daniel Pesch, 34, who's charged with killing an Elbert Co. teacher 8 years ago.

LITTLETON, CO -- An arrest made in Littleton this week may solve an Elbert Co. murder from 2010, police said. On Dec. 19, Elbert Co. Sheriff's deputies arrested Dan Pesch, 34, in connection with the 2010 murder of Kiowa High School teacher Randy Wilson.
Pesch was charged with first-degree murder, resisting arrest, obstruction and attempted escape. Further details were withheld because of a court order.
Wilson's tied up body was found in a field in northern Elbert Co. in June, of 2010. The body had a bag over his head and a belt around his neck with hands tied behind his back, the Denver Post reported.

According to reporting in Colorado Community Media:
Wilson, who was originally from Montana, was 52 when he was killed, according to an obituary. He was the father of five sons, and had taught in schools around the country and as far away as the South Pacific.
Wilson was last seen at a gas station in Bennett, heading back to Kiowa from visiting family in Montana, on the night before his body was found, according to a Colorado Community Media story from the time. His car was found abandoned near his body in the field, near the intersection of county roads 194 and 53, a remote area about halfway between Bennett and Kiowa.
Pesch had been living in Summit County and had recently undergone eviction proceedings, the Littleton Independent reported.
