Woodbridge Hosts Residential Solar Workshop
On April 16 Woodbridge residents can learn about the benefits of going solar
You can learn if your home is a good candidate for solar and learn about financing options, state rebates and federal tax credits for solar installations by attending a workshop on Thursday April 16, 7 p.m. at the Center Gym (4 Meetinghouse Lane).
If you would like to attend, please register by visiting CTSolarChallenge.com/Woodbridge.
The Town of Woodbridge is partnering with CT Solar Challenge. This program simplifies the process of learning about solar installations and makes it more affordable for Woodbridge residents.

As an added benefit, for each system installed, the Town of Woodbridge will earn credit toward the installation of a free solar system on a municipal property.
This workshop is part of the Woodbridge Energy Challenge which provides Woodbridge residents with one-stop shopping to help residents understand the benefits of going solar and how to weatherize their home through a Home Energy Audit and special pricing for insulation.

At this solar workshop you will hear from Town partners CT Solar Challenge and Aegis Solar Energy.
“This program is a win-win-win,” said First Selectman Ellen Scalettar. “It’s a win for the resident, a win for Woodbridge and a win for the environment. My husband and I have signed onto the program. Come to this workshop and see if solar is right for you.”
