Pregnant Woman Killed, Man Injured In Bridgeport Shooting
An early morning shooting killed a woman who was 23 weeks pregnant.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old pregnant woman early Monday morning, The Hour reported. The victim was Karla Bermudez, who was 23 weeks pregnant.
Bermudez and her 23-year-old boyfriend were shot in their sleep. The boyfriend was injured in the shooting, which occurred at 5:35 a.m. near Washington Terrace in downtown Bridgeport, according to The Hour.
