Canton Senior Center to present Comfort Care for Those with Serious Illnesses

Palliative care is comfort-focused care for individuals coping with a serious chronic illness, or undergoing treatment for a serious illness – that may include heart failure, COPD, cancer and dementia. Palliative care can help both those who are ill and their caregivers, who may be needing help with pain management and other symptoms related to their conditions. Palliative care focuses on quality of life.
