How Reiki Can Help

Reiki is a form of energy healing that is performed by a gentle and intuitive hands-on or hands-off personalized session.  The practitioner acts as a facilitator for the enhanced flow of universal life force, or universal healing energy through the client to promote deep relaxation, tension release and optimal energetic flow.  Typical experiences that are reported by clients after a session include warmth, tingling, deep mental and physical relaxation, falling asleep, visions of colors and sometimes even psychic impulses.  The deep relaxation and rejuvenation that occurs during a session is extremely helpful in many incidences requiring healing such as managing pain, managing stress, preparing for or recovering from surgery or illness, navigating a major life shift or even exploring metaphysical or spiritual inspirations or questions.

In my work as a Reiki Master I enjoy adding aromatherapy, guided imagery and crystal healing into client Reiki sessions, customizing according to personal preference.  I have had great successes working with adults of all ages, Alzheimers and hospice patients, children, and even my cats!  I also love teaching and am available to provide practitioner certification training to others who wish to begin using Reiki healing work themselves.  I have found Reiki to be a natural fit with my work as a physical therapist also as it enhances therapy sessions immensely when I include it as part of a PT session for managing pain or decreasing tension.  For the month of May, personalized one hour Reiki sessions at Nikki's Nature will be on a special promotion for $50, which is $15 off of the usual $65 per hour rate.  For more information or to schedule a session, visit www.nikkisnature.com.  Feel free to ask questions anytime to find out if Reiki may be right for you.  Have a wonderful and healthy day!
