Cheshire Community to Light Luminaries in Support of Families Struck by Tragedy
The luminaries, which will be lit New Year's Eve, will support the Gozzo and Settembri families.

A community group in Cheshire, called “Cheshire’s Lights of Hope” is inviting everyone in town to help show support for the two families involved in the town’s recent tragedies.
The group is asking residents to participate in the lighting of luminaries on New Year’s Eve in support of the Gozzo and Settembri families.
Isabella Gozzo died Dec. 13 at the age of 19 in a one-car crash in Berlin and Christopher A. Settembri, 18, was killed Dec. 16 by his father, Christopher P. Settembri, 48, in what police said was a murder-suicide at their Cornwall Avenue home.

Ways the Community Can Help the Families
- We are asking everyone in this community to visit R.W. Hines Ace Hardware and purchase a single luminary for $5.00 and place it out in front of your home on December 31 (New Year’s Eve) to honor our neighbors.
- If by chance you’re unable to locally visit R.W. Hines and purchase a luminary, you can also make a monetary donation via our secure Donation page.
All proceeds from the sale of these luminaries and online monetary donations will go to these two families.
