FBI Joins Hunt For Serial Bank Robber
The suspect has been linked to at least seven bank robberies in the state, including Cheshire.
The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying a serial bank robber who has robbed seven banks in Connecticut in the last month.
The most recent robbery was at the TD Bank, Route 81 in Killingworth on Sept. 11. Investigators say he is also suspected in robberies at Webster Bank, Highland Avenue, Cheshire on Aug. 12; the TD Bank, Farmington Avenue, Berlin on Aug. 13; Liberty Bank, Main Street, Deep River on Aug. 17; TD Bank, Wells Road Wethersfield on Aug. 31; Liberty Bank, Main Street, Durham on Sept. 2; and Webster Bank Branch on Cromwell Avenue in Rocky Hill on Sept. 9.
The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association recently announced it is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a white male, about 30 to 40 years old, 5-feet, 9-inches to 6-0 tall, with a thin build.
During each of the bank robberies, the suspect has worn a baseball hat and is talking on the phone. The suspect has been seen with and without facial hair.
