Serial Bank Robber Sought by Police; Reward in Place for Info
After bank robberies occurred in Cheshire and six other towns, police released photographs and identifying details about the suspect.

A string of bank robberies has law enforcement in seven towns seeking a suspect they believe is responsible for all the alleged robberies.
The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Banks in the following towns reported robberies:

- July 27: Branford
- August 12: Cheshire
- August 13: Berlin
- August 17: Deep River
- August 18: Milford
- August 31: Wethersfield
- September 3: Durham
The Berlin Police Department released the following identifying information on the suspect via Facebook.

- Vehicle: older, gray/green Honda Civic, most likely a 1996-1998 model
- Heavy front-end damage with the front bumper missing
- Passenger-side damage and a loud exhaust
- Green vehicle seen in the area of the Durham robbery
Description of Suspect
- White man
- Tall
- Thin with athletic build
- Suspect’s clothes worn in each robbery: shorts, baseball cap, sunglasses
- Speaks or pretends to speak on a cell phone throughout alleged robberies
