East Haven Mayor Addresses Crime Uptick, Police Patrols Increased
Mayor Carfora, Police Chief Lennon are implementing additional patrol shifts, ensuring round-the-clock vigilance, and rapid response times.

East Haven Mayor Joseph A Carfora addresses growing concerns over the recent surge in isolated incident crime within the town of East Haven:
"Over the past few months, East Haven, like many other communities across the nation, has
experienced an unfortunate uptick in isolated incident crime. As a Town, we acknowledge the
seriousness of this issue and are committed to taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of
our residents. Chief Lennon and I have already increased the number of officers on the road and
have been working closely to devise effective strategies.
One of the key components of the Town's plan involves the continued bolstering of police patrols
throughout East Haven. By increasing the presence of law enforcement officers in our
neighborhoods, we will work to deter potential criminal activities and continue to respond
swiftly to any incidents that may arise. The East Haven Police Department will be implementing
additional patrol shifts, ensuring round-the-clock vigilance, and rapid response times.
