NORTH-CENTRAL CT — 2022 was certainly a banner year for sports in north-central Connecticut. More than a dozen state championships were won by high school teams from the region, outstanding coaches and athletes received Hall of Fame recognition, and the annual Thanksgiving morning spectacle of the Manchester Road Race provided both record-setting accomplishments and its usual pageantry.
