Picture Somers and Ellington - History, Memories, Nostalgia

SOMERS/ELLINGTON, CT — As 2020 comes to a close, it will be forever remembered as one of the strangest, most disruptive years in history. However, over the latter part of the year, memories of Somers and Ellington in days past were revived via the Picture Somers and Picture Ellington columns on Patch.

The throwback columns have become among the most popular features on Ellington-Somers Patch. The columns' audiences have grown steadily with each publication, and comments on the site itself and on various Facebook pages indicate town residents have fond memories of growing up there.
