UPDATE: More Arson Charges for Enfield Teen
Additional charges have been filed against the 16-year-old suspect for several fires in the Hazardville neighborhood.

Additional arson charges have been lodged against the 16-year-old Enfield teen who was arrested earlier this month in connection with a string of arsons that had plagued the town since last summer.

The teen, who has been identified as Davidson Izzo of 390 Elm St., was charged with four additional counts of arson in connection with a fire at a vacant house at 394 Elm St. in August, a November fire at a vacant house at 5 Martin Terr., a November barn fire at 383 Elm St. and another barn fire at 364 Elm St. in January, according to NBC Connecticut.
Izzo is being held on a total of $1.75 million bond, according to NBC.

Messages seeking comment from Police Chief Carl Sferrazza were not returned Friday afternoon.

An Enfield teen is being held on $750,000 bond following his arrest on a first-degree arson charge in connection with the string of arsons that struck fear in the residents of the Hazardville neighborhood of Enfield.
Davidson Izzo, 16, of 390 Elm St., who’s also a suspect in the other neighborhood fires, was arrested March 3 and is being held in lieu of $750,000, according to The Journal Inquirer.
Accordingto NBC Connecticut, Izzo is charged with a December fire that damaged a home and his case has been transferred from juvenile court to adult court.
No one has been injured in any of the nine arsons since last summer.
In an interview March 9, Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said police were continuing their investigation and that he “hoped” an arrest would be made. He did not reveal that an arrest had been made and he did not return a call seeking comment on Friday morning.
