$1,500 Reward For Info On Fairfield County Robbery Suspect: Cops
The robberies occurred between Sept. 29 and Oct. 5 in Fairfield, Westport, Shelton and Norwalk, according to police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A $1,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man suspected in robberies across Fairfield County, according to police.
The robberies occurred between Sept. 29 and Oct. 5 in Fairfield, Westport, Shelton and Norwalk, Fairfield police said in a news release. In total, four robberies have been reported, three of them at banks, according to police.
“It appears the same suspect is responsible for all four incidents,” the news release said.

During each of the bank robberies, the man has walked up to the teller window and provided a handwritten note confirming the robbery, according to police. No weapons have been displayed and there has been no evidence of a weapon being present, police said.
Surveillance from each robbery shows a man, who appears to be the same suspect in each incident, according to police. The man has similar clothing, mannerisms and eye shape in each video, police said. He has been described as possibly a white or Asian man, who is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, according to police.

The man was seen driving the same vehicle during each incident, police said. The vehicle appears to be a blue Hyundai Elantra Sport, possibly a model from 2016 to 2019, according to police.
The Fairfield robbery happened Wednesday afternoon at People's United Bank, located in Stop & Shop at 1160 Kings Highway Cutoff.
