Fairfield Museum And History Center Celebrates MLK Day Monday
Local author and illustrator Lizzy Rockwell is scheduled to discuss her book, "The All-Together Quilt."
FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Museum and History Center will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday with a presentation and activities around local author and illustrator Lizzy Rockwell's book, "The All-Together Quilt."
The free event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., in which "families and friends of all ages are invited to drop in on a reading along with hands-on activities such as designing a paper quilt block, hand sewing with felt, and a quilting bee."
