Fugitive from Justice Goes to Police Headquarters for Advice
Fairfield police arrested the man, who was wanted in Rhode Island, after he sought advice for an issue with his landlord.
A cautionary tale for fugitives from justice: If you show up at police headquarters, even to seek advice, chances are you will be arrested.
The Fairfield Citizen reports that Fairfield police arrested Theodore Cox, 46, who was wanted by Rhode Island police for violating probation on a felony assault charge.
Cox had gone to police headquarters on Saturday for advice on an issue with his landlord, who wanted him to move out of a Palamar Drive home he was renting.
