Taylor now majority shareholder, making shop among New England’s largest woman-owned agencies
Keiler, a 40-year old full-service advertising and marketing agency that has built a solid reputation providing a complete range of traditional and digital solutions for major national and global clients, has named Lynn Taylor as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Taylor, who joined the agency in 1989, had been a Managing Partner. Prior to joining Keiler, she spent several years in New York with DDB Needham Worldwide, where she worked on CIGNA, IBM, Clairol, Seagram's and Procter & Gamble.

Keiler also announced that Bill Smith, a Managing Partner, has become Chairman. As Chairman, he will continue to preside over the agency’s strategic services. A third Managing Partner, Mel Maffei, has retired.
The changes give Taylor a majority interest in the firm, making it one of the biggest woman-owned agencies in New England. Keiler has more than 50 employees and serves a roster of clients that includes Lockheed Martin, Deloitte, SimplexGrinnell, Stanley Black & Decker, and the WNBA Connecticut Sun.

The management changes are taking place as the agency redefines itself, Taylor noted. “Over the years, Keiler has done highly effective, award-winning creative work for companies and products that are quite complex,” she said. “Our core strength revolves around an analytical process we call 'Keiler klarity™,' which helps us distill a client’s business and communications strategies into insights and positioning that help spotlight a brand’s source of differentiation.”
The changes in management, Taylor said, are part of an agency restructuring that will clear an upward path for the next generation of management. “We have identified the key players who will help take us to the next level as we continue to grow, and they will soon be taking on new and added responsibilities that will benefit the clients we serve,” she added.
