Deer, and turkeys, and chipmunks—oh my! Whooo-oo knows what sights and sounds we'll discover in the forest this Halloween weekend. Families can enjoy this easy 1- to 2-mile (depending on the group) walk along a flat trail that is great for little legs.  

Bring your favorite Halloween prop that it is light enough to carry and will not inhibit walking.

We will still walk in light rain. Heavy rain or thunderstorms will cancel.

At the intersection of Routes 10 and 4, Farmington Center, proceed south on Route 10 to the second traffic light. Turn right at the light and the parking area is on the right about 100 feet after you cross the Pequabuck River.

To prepare for a safe and enjoyable time:

1. Be ready to begin the Ramble at the scheduled start time;

2. Bring water, snack, and your excitement;

3. Leave pets at home or other safe place;

4. Wear sturdy shoes; and

5. Kids, please remember to bring your parents or caregivers.
