Break a Wooden Board With
Your Hands… for Charity!
Unionville, CT – Olympic Taekwondo Academy (OTA) invites area adults and children to learn how to break a wooden board with their hands…for charity. The second annual “Kicking for Miracles” event will be held on Saturday, September 8th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm outside the Olympic Taekwondo Academy (in the Farmington Bank parking lot) in Unionville. Proceeds will benefit CT Children’s Medical Center (CCMC).
The Kicking for Miracles event will also feature free taekwondo and women’s self-defense classes, a demonstration by Master Kiye Cho – a 2003 Gold medal winner in the World Taekwondo League Championships and other OTA Masters/instructors, a demonstration by the Light of the World Demo Team, food and beverages. The event is free and open to the public. A donation to CCMC is
requested for food and board breaking activities.

OTHER: In the event of rain, activities/demonstrations will be indoors at the Olympic Taekwondo Academy.
