Farmington Headed for Soccer and Volleyball Semifinals
Both squads won their quarterfinal matchups Saturday to earn trips to the Final Four.
Farmington High School will have two teams competing in Final Fours next week, as both the boys soccer and girls volleyball teams emerged victorious in quarterfinal action Saturday.
At Tunxis Mead, the soccer team upended Wilton, 4-3 to earn its fourth consecutive berth in the semifinals. The Indians, seeded seventh in Class LL, will take on No. 11 Darien on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Naugatuck High School.
Meanwhile, on the volleyball court in Class L, fifth-seeded Farmington traveled to Redding and knocked off No. 4 Joel Barlow by a 3-1 count. Game scores were 25-16, 21-25, 25-17 and 25-19.

The Indians will tangle with undefeated top seed RHAM on Thursday, Nov. 19, at a time and location to be determined.
