Lauren Avezzie Fun Run In Fifth Year

Much of the Union School community gathered on the field Sunday to enjoy an athletic event, each other's company and the memory of a special young lady.

The Lauren Avezzie Fun Run, now in its fifth year, is hosted by the Lauren E. Avezzie Charitable Foundation in memory of Lauren, daughter of Cindi and David Avezzie, the physical education teacher at Union School.

Union School students from kindergarten through fourth grade and alumni and parents, too, participated in the races and a special day as a community.
