Monday, April 27
Varsity Lacrosse vs. Taft: L 7-14
Recap: The Porter’s varsity lacrosse team had a great start today. For most of the first half Taft and Porter’s were goal for goal. Taft was able to pull ahead at the end of the first half and maintained the lead for the rest of the game. We have a rare break from games this week and will use the practice to keep honing our skills!

Wednesday, April 29
Varsity Golf vs. Hotchkiss: L 0-5
Varsity Golf vs. Taft: L 0-5
Varsity Golf vs. Westover: W 3.5-1.5
Recap: Another good showing by Porter’s golf saw them winning holes against powerhouse Taft (10-1) on their home course, maintaining the streak of forcing matches to go all nine holes, and finally winning a match against short-handed Westover. Amelia Roberts ‘15 started the scoring off by winning her first match of the season, followed soon after by Isa Zamarripa Zercovitz ‘17 who was dormie 3-2-1 before losing the ninth to halve the round. Maggie Zhang ‘17 notched her second win of the season leaving the score 2.5 to 1.5 with only the #5s still on the course. An exceptional day again for Jennifer Lim ‘16 playing in the 5 spot! She shot the team low on the fourth, fifth, seventh and ninth holes, including a par on the third.
