Varsity Track & Field: NEPSTA Track and Field Championships
Recap: Eleven members of Porter’s track and field team traveled to Northfield Mount Hermon on Saturday to compete at the Division I NEPSTA track and field championships. Sydni Scott ‘18 earned third place in the long jump and Sam Houle ‘17 earned sixth place in the 800 meters. Sam Houle’s 800 meter run was a new personal record. In addition, the 4 by 400 meter relay team of Sam Houle, Caroline Longacre ‘15, Kyra Bukowski ‘18, and Emily Wogelius ‘17 ran an incredible race, missing the school record by .18 of a second.
