CT Weather Forecast: More Rain, More Storms This Weekend
When hasn't there been a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Connecticut? It's becoming a daily occurrence.

Strong to severe thunderstorms rolled through Connecticut on Friday and surprise, surprise more of the same is expected Saturday too. Sigh. The National Weather Service has issued another Hazardous Weather Outlook for this weekend for more rain, more thunderstorms and more flooding concerns.
It's expected to remain mostly cloudy this morning but in the afternoon and evening is when the storms and rain are most likely to occur. More rain showers are possible on Sunday. Some showers are also possible on Monday and Wednesday too. On the bright side of things, Tuesday looks good as the sun returns.
In a weather statement for Southern Connecticut, the weather service says, "Heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon and this evening which could lead to some localized flooding."

The National Weather Service says, "A cold front will approach the region today, and move across the area during the first half of tonight. Expect a good deal of clouds along with the threat of showers and thunderstorms. While there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms all day, the best chance will be during the late afternoon and evening hours as the front moves through. It will be a warm and muggy day as highs climb into the 80s."

"With the frontal boundary nearby, the threat of showers will continue Saturday night and Sunday. With the front south of the area Sunday, winds become more northerly and temperatures will be cooler with highs in the 70s region wide. By late Sunday night into Monday somewhat drier air will settle into the region with a slight drop in humidity levels. Temperatures on Monday will average slightly below normal with middle 70s to around 80 across the region."
