Officials Break Ground On 6-Story, 120-Unit Residential Community In Greenwich (patch.com) — Greenwich officials and developers have broken ground on Benedict Court, a six-story, 120‑unit residential building at 19 Benedict Place that will significantly expand the town's affordable housing stock. Forty-eight units will be reserved for moderate- and low-income households, supported in part by the Greenwich Affordable Housing Trust Fund, with leaders emphasizing the project's walkable downtown location and its role in addressing the local housing crisis.

Ticket sales support local habitat restoration, seven Greenwich-area sanctuaries, and detailed migration research that helps track the health of bird populations and local ecosystems.
   

4. Captain Joseph Carroll Records A Hat Trick In Varsity Boys Soccer's Shutout Victory Over Fairfield Ludlowe (greenwichsentinel.com) — Greenwich High School's boys varsity soccer team has opened the 2026 season with back-to-back 5–0 wins, including a home shutout of Fairfield Ludlowe powered by captain Joseph Carroll's hat trick. With 10 goals scored and none conceded, the Cardinals are quickly rebuilding after heavy graduation losses and eyeing another run at FCIAC and state titles.
