Store Robbed At Gunpoint In Hamden: Police
The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating after a Metro PCS in Hamden was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday night. At about 7 p.m. on Dec. 30, Hamden Police responded to Metro PCS, located at 1548 Dixwell Avenue on the report of an armed robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that a man armed with a gun entered the store and demanded money. The suspect is described by police as a male with a tan complexion, about 30 to 40 years old, 5-feet, 6-inches tall and wearing dark clothing.
The suspect subsequently walked behind the front counter and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. He was last seen fleeing northbound on Dixwell Avenue in a dark colored, 4-door Honda, according to Smith.

A Metro PCS, located at 861 Dixwell Avenue, was also robbed at gunpoint on Dec. 20 by two men who stole cash and several cellphones.
