Assumption College, Worcester MA
- Assumption College has announced that 590 students have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. East Hartford students are Ahlajuwon Spencer, Class of 2018, and Kayla Walton, Class of 2021.

- Curry College is proud to announce that the following area students were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester: Briana Dawkins of East Hartford, Amber Hebert of East Hartford, Kevi Oatway of East Hartford and Anastasia Santana of Hartford.
University of Scranton, Scranton PA
- Two Bloomfield residents were among more than 890 bachelor's and associate's degrees at the university's undergraduate commencement on May 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Ryan J. Poole earned a Bachelor of Science degree in counseling and human services, and
Brianna J. Cowan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in nursing.
University of Vermont, Burlington VT

- Some 3,055 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address. Local graduates were Michelle Budnik of East Hartford, Bachelor of Arts, Psychological Science; and Kathleen Stahl of Hartford, Bachelor of Arts, Film and Television Studies.
