Action Alert: Tell Your Legislators to Pass a Budget that Protects Community Services

Thank you for raising your voice in support of the critical funding we need to continue our progress toward ending homelessness in Connecticut!

Yesterday, more than 750 human service advocates joined together to urge lawmakers to pass a budget as soon as possible - and ensure the budget protects resources for the most vulnerable among us. We echoed the importance of preserving funding for critical human services, including all of our efforts to end homelessness.

Throughout the last few years the investments in homelessness resources have had a tremendous impact on reducing the number of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Without a budget, the remarkable progress made is threatened. With every day that passes, we move closer to the possibility of more permanent program reductions, closures, lay-offs, and harm to our communities.
