Alexandria Palmer of Middletown recently won the title of National American Miss Connecticut Junior Teen. This was her third straight title.
She previous won Miss Connecticut Junior Preteen in 2008, Miss Connecticut Preteen in 2010 and now Miss Connecticut Junior Teen 2012.
She will compete for the national title in California the week of Thanksgiving. She was 3rd runner up in the nation in 2008 and finished in the top ten in 2010. Alexandria is an avid volunteer who gave up playing soccer during her reign so she can promote her platform — Alzheimer's Awareness — in honor of her two great-grandmothers who both recently died of the disease.
