Funding For MAT Will Stay!

And Monday Is A Middletown Common Council Meeting

Funding For MAT Will Stay!
The State originally proposed a 15%, $260,558 cut to MAT transit funding but it did not pass on Wednesday's New State Budget vote. One of the reasons it failed was because of a rally for the funding on May 3rd, at Middletown's MAT Hall.

Middletown will have a Special Common Council meeting Monday to adopt a 2018-19 budget, and council members say city residents should expect a tax increase because of a drop in state funding. Details are on Article in: The Hartford Courant.
