Middletown Nurse Disciplined By State: Report

The nurse is among eight recently disciplined by the state Board of Examiners for Nursing.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown nurse was one of eight nurses in the state to be disciplined by the state Board of Examiners for Nursing last week, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.

Kate Farrish of the I-Team reports the RN license of Jessica Carlson, a Middletown resident, was placed on a two-year probation after she allegedly took the opioid Dilaudid for her personal use in 2011 to 2012 while working at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Carlson was also accused of taking controlled substances and failing to document medical records while working at the Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Middletown, according to Farrish.
