Middletown Nurse Disciplined By State: Report

The nurse is among nine recently disciplined by the state Board of Examiners for Nursing.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown nurse was one of nine nurses in the state recently disciplined by the state Board of Examiners for Nursing, the Connecticut Health I-Team reports. Seven of the nurses were disciplined for drug or alcohol abuse, according to the report.

Kate Farrish of the I-Team reports that the RN license of Sarah Sanders, a Middletown resident, was placed on probation for a year in connection with “alcohol abuse and mental illnesses that the board found was affecting her ability to practice as a nurse.”
