Middletown Police Commander Running For Haddam First Selectman
Commander Sean Moriarty has been with the department for 30 years.

HADDAM, CT — Middletown Police Commander Sean Moriarty will retire from the department if he wins the first selectman's race in Haddam.
Moriarty recently hit his 30 year anniversary with the department and manages 80 officers, according to the Middletown Press. He has also worked on the department's $13 million budget.
His wife Tanja Moriarty is a former selectman and is running for the Board of Assessment Appeals.

Moriarty said he would make changes to Haddam's bidding process for town projects and wants a zero-based budget where departments justify what they need. He is running as a Democrat.
