Congratulations to those who completed the pilot Middletown Thinks Outside challenge for June-August: Gloria A, Tracy L, and Barbara W! They are acknowledged in the Rec Office's Fall Brochure on page 40.
We will continue the pilot for Sept-Dec with the following sites (which again will be the sites of our nature walks these months):
- Spiderweed Preserve
- Higby Mt
- Wadsworth State Park
- Highlawn Forest
Anyone who walks at least three of the four will be recognized by the Recreation office; the reporting is available online (http://cityofmiddletown.com/ recreation). These areas can be visited as part of our hiking program or on your own.

We anticipate making this Middletown Thinks Outside challenge year-long in 2019, with more significant acknowledgement of those who participate by the Rec Office.
