On Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 10AM, Beth Lepin will lead a walk sponsored by Middletown Recreation Division, along the Connecticut River. Starting at Harbor Park in Middletown, CT, between the restaurant and boat houses at 10AM, we will walk about a half mile along lightly traveled roads to River Road, which is closed to traffic. We will continue along the river where we may possible see a bald eagle, and return along the same route.
This trip, flat and paved, will last 1.5 hours. Dress for the weather, wear hiking shoes, and bring a light snack and water. Children under age 16 must attend with an adult 18+. This is an easy hike along the Connecticut River. Park between the restaurant and boat houses (GPS: 80 Harbor Dr, Middletown, CT 06457)
