• Warrant Says Middletown Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Willimantic Break-In Called Victim From Prison (patch.com) — Middletown readers are learning more about local resident Dean Peruta, who is jailed on a $1 million bond after a violent Willimantic home invasion involving his ex-wife. State police now say he also violated a protective order by calling her from prison, adding two new charges to an already lengthy list that includes attempted murder and home invasion.
